The aim of the L.L.M. Programme at Swami Sahajanand College of Commerce and Management (Autonomous) is to develop legal professionals with specialized knowledge and applied competencies in core areas of law, including constitutional law, corporate law, human rights, and international legal frameworks. The program is designed to meet the evolving needs of the legal profession, judiciary, policy-making bodies, and academia by nurturing analytical thinking, legal research aptitude, and ethical advocacy.
The main objective of this Programme is to train students to develop conceptual clarity, practical understanding, and research capabilities to address complex legal issues and offer effective legal solutions in various spheres of society and governance. The programme will enable students:
• To acquire in-depth knowledge of conventional and contemporary legal issues within national and global contexts.
• To develop a thorough understanding of the Indian legal system and its interface with international law and human rights mechanisms.
• To equip themselves with critical legal thinking, drafting, advocacy, and litigation skills for diverse career paths in law.
• To understand the role and functioning of judicial, legislative, and regulatory bodies in upholding the rule of law and justice.
• To contribute meaningfully to academic, policy, and professional legal discourses through independent research and legal scholarship.
